Kensington Hall

Kensington Hall is a residential care home providing personal care to 10 people, with capacity for up to 13. The service supports people with a learning disability and autistic people.

Medicines were managed safely overall, though improvements were needed in records and guidance for topical and when required medicines. Care records were not always complete or accurate, and care plans and risk assessments lacked specific details about people's care in some cases, with some containing out of date information. Internal audits did not always identify these issues. The home had effective staff recruitment processes and employed enough skilled and experienced staff who knew people well and could safely meet their health and physical needs.
