Mayfair Lodge is a residential care home providing personal care for 61 people aged 65 and over in a purpose-built building with capacity for up to 62 residents. People felt safe living at the service, with relatives confirming that the care and support provided maintained residents' safety. Staff had received training in safeguarding to protect people from potential abuse, and risks to residents' safety and well-being were assessed and mitigated.
The provider completed pre-employment checks before hiring new staff.
Medicines were managed safely, with the provider assessing staff competency to ensure safe administration. The home was clean and welcoming.
