Could the NHS fund Clock Tower Mews's fees?
NHS Continuing Healthcare could cover 100% of care costs with no means test.
Clock Tower Mews provides accommodation and personal care for eight people with learning disabilities and autism. The service has addressed previous regulatory breaches, resulting in safer, higher-quality care delivery. Staff conduct risk assessments to keep people safe and have received appropriate training. The building is purpose-built and adapted to meet residents' physical needs, and medicines are now safely managed and administered as prescribed.
Staff are aware of people's nutritional needs and provide good support in this area. Consent is now obtained in line with legal requirements. While most aspects of care have improved, the registered manager is working on making people's records more person-centred to ensure documentation fully reflects individual needs and preferences.
