Maun View

Maun View provides residential care and accommodation for up to 77 people requiring nursing or personal care, with specialist support for those living with dementia. At inspection, 71 people were living at the home, which is arranged across two floors, each divided into two units with communal areas and outdoor spaces.

Inspectors found that staffing levels were not always sufficient to keep people safe and meet their needs. Risks were not consistently managed, with particular concerns around safety and medicines management. People did not always receive responsive care, and there was limited evidence of their involvement in care planning. Internal quality assurance processes were not consistently effective in monitoring the service.
