Marion Lauder House

Marion Lauder House provides personal and nursing care for up to 79 older and younger adults, including people living with dementia. At inspection, 73 people were using the service.

Inspectors found that recruitment processes had gaps, with previous employment history not always recorded and references not obtained from appropriate sources. Advocacy support had not been considered for one person when care decisions were made. While medicines management was generally safe, further work was needed to ensure covertly administered medicines were clearly documented. Records relating to fluid intake were incomplete in some cases.
