About Manorhey Care Centre

Manorhey Care Centre is a nursing home in Trafford, providing nursing and personal care, including support for people living with dementia. Details of the most recent CQC inspection are set out below.

The care centre provides nursing and personal care to up to 83 people, including those living with dementia. At inspection, 79 people were using the service. Residents reported feeling safe and well cared for, with staff treating them kindly and with respect.

Staffing levels were generally sufficient to meet people's needs, though some staff felt they could occasionally be short staffed. The service manager confirmed they would review staffing levels further. While risks to people's safety had been identified and assessed, inspectors found vinyl gloves were easily accessible on the dementia ground floor corridors, presenting a potential hazard.

The service manager resolved these concerns during the inspection.
