Amberley Care Home

Amberley Care Home accommodates up to 72 older and younger people with dementia, mental health conditions, physical disabilities and sensory impairment across three floors. At the time of inspection, 42 people were living there, with the ground floor supporting those with nursing needs and the first floor designated as a residential unit for people with dementia.

The home manages medicines safely and conducts competency assessments to monitor staff performance. Staff follow infection prevention and control guidance and conduct suitable risk assessments to manage risks to residents. Safeguarding systems are in place to protect people from abuse, and referrals are made to other services and health professionals when necessary. Staffing levels are sufficient to meet residents' needs, with safe recruitment practices in place.
