About Manor Field

Manor Field is a residential care home in North Northamptonshire, providing support for people with learning disabilities and autistic people. Details of the most recent CQC assessment are set out below.

Manor Field is a residential care home providing support to up to 5 people with learning disabilities and autistic people. The CQC assessed the service after concerns were raised about staff practice and management oversight, and found it required improvement, with breaches relating to dignity and leadership. Inconsistent management meant audits had not picked up problems, and care plans were not always person-centred or kept up to date.

Inspectors found staff generally knew people well and communicated with them warmly, and medicines, staffing levels and infection control were managed safely. However, safeguarding systems were not always robust and staff described the culture as not fully open. Relatives told inspectors they felt their loved ones were safe and well cared for.
