Welland House - Occupation Road

Welland House accommodates up to 12 people with profound and multiple learning disabilities and complex needs across two buildings on one site. At the time of inspection, 9 people were using the service. While the care home was not originally designed in line with best practice guidance around choice, promotion of independence and inclusion, inspectors found that people were given choices and their independence and participation within the local community were encouraged. The service maintained its 'good' rating, with evidence continuing to support this assessment.
