Magnolia House

Magnolia House provides residential care and nursing support for up to 67 older people, some living with dementia. At inspection, 48 people were using the service, accommodated in one adapted building. The registered manager and provider had implemented new systems to ensure care reflected residents' needs and preferences, with effective improvements made to infection control procedures.

People and their relatives spoke positively about the service, noting it was improving. Staff reported having the training, support and skills needed to meet people's needs, though some held differing views on internal communication. The registered manager and provider were aware of these concerns and taking action to improve staff engagement across the home.
