Inspectors identified breaches relating to safe care and treatment and good governance, with gaps in risk management in care plans, inconsistent medicines practice, and oversight that had not effectively identified or addressed these issues.

Despite these shortfalls, families and residents spoke positively about kindness, staff knowledge and the range of activities on offer. The CQC found people were treated with dignity, supported to make choices, and helped to maintain family relationships. The provider responded positively during the assessment and began making improvements where problems were identified.
