Lyncroft Care Home

Lyncroft Care Home provides personal care to up to 9 people, including those with learning disabilities and older people. At inspection, 8 people were using the service. Staff had received training to support people with learning disabilities and there were enough staff to meet people's needs. People were safeguarded from abuse and avoidable harm, with risks assessed and mitigated to ensure safety. Medicines were administered safely and infection control measures were in place.

People's capacity was assessed, enabling them to make decisions about their care. The service learned from incidents and took corrective action when issues arose. Staff supported people to participate in community charity events, helping them raise funds towards holidays and days out, promoting their inclusion and independence in the local community.
