Lound Hall

Lound Hall provides residential care for older adults, some living with dementia, across three floors of an adapted building. At inspection, 18 people were using the service, which can accommodate up to 30 residents. Staff were trained to keep people safe, with risks associated with individual health needs assessed and managed effectively. Medicines were well supported and people were enabled to have maximum choice and control over their lives, with staff supporting them in the least restrictive way possible.

The home had recently seen staffing improvements, and people expressed happiness with the care they received. A new registered manager had made significant improvements to the service and demonstrated a clear understanding of their responsibilities. Ongoing refurbishment works were underway to improve the environment, and the home was well managed overall.
