Long Lea Residential Home provides personal care and accommodation for up to 35 adults living with dementia, mental health needs, physical disabilities or sensory loss. At the time of the assessment, 28 people were living there. The CQC found the service is now rated Good overall, having previously been in breach of regulations relating to safe care and good governance.

Inspectors found improvements had been made under a new registered manager and deputy manager, with staff describing a positive change in culture. There were enough skilled staff, risks were well managed, and medicines, nutrition and infection control were handled properly. People said they felt safe, well cared for and happy with how the home was run.
