Gildawood Court

Gildawood Court provides personal care and accommodation for up to 60 older people, some living with dementia, across three units though only two were operational at inspection. The home accommodated 34 residents at the time of visit, with each unit offering its own lounge, garden, and dining area with kitchenette, plus a large communal dining room.

The home had identified and assessed risks to people's health and wellbeing, though it wasn't always clear what immediate actions were taken to address safety concerns linked to residents' health conditions. Systems were in place to ensure people received medicines as prescribed, though some gaps were identified in implementation.
