People in Action - Old Hinckley Road

People in Action – Old Hinckley Road is a residential care home for seven people with physical disabilities and learning disabilities, located in Nuneaton, Warwickshire. Each person has their own bedroom with shared bathrooms, and the home includes communal spaces such as a lounge, kitchen, dining area and conservatory. Outside, there is a large garden with a wooden cabin.

The service demonstrated strong infection prevention and control practices. Staff and visitors were subject to comprehensive checks on arrival, and the registered manager maintained a methodical approach to recording vaccination status and test results. Detailed, up-to-date policies and procedures were in place to ensure current government guidelines were being followed, reducing infection risks to residents.
