Little Heath Lodge

This service provides accommodation and nursing or personal care for up to five adults with mental health needs. At the time of inspection, four people were living at the home. Staff implemented robust infection control measures, including screening all visitors for respiratory symptoms before entry and ensuring they followed guidance on hand washing, sanitisation, PPE use, temperature checks, and vaccination status. An enhanced COVID-19 testing program was in place for both residents and staff, with self-isolation required when symptoms appeared. Throughout the visit, staff were observed wearing appropriate PPE and maintaining social distancing. The home was very clean, with staff maintaining a regular cleaning schedule monitored by the registered manager. Prior to admission, the provider carried out relevant checks including negative COVID-19 PCR test results, confirmation the person was not returning from an infected environment, and verification of full vaccination status.
