Puddingstone Grange

Puddingstone Grange is a purpose-built residential and nursing care home with four units across two floors, accommodating up to 62 people. The service supports people living with dementia, nursing and mental health needs. At inspection, the home was at full capacity with 62 residents.

People reported feeling safe at the home with no concerns about abuse or neglect. Risks to residents had been identified and assessed with appropriate management plans in place. Staff supported residents to have maximum choice and control over their lives in the least restrictive way possible. Staffing levels were adequate on each unit to meet residents' needs safely, and appropriate recruitment checks were completed for all staff.

Medicines were managed safely and administered as prescribed. The home maintained high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, with staff following appropriate infection control practices to minimise the spread of infections.
