Cullum Welch Court Care Home

The care home provides personal and nursing care for up to 60 people across three separate units over two floors, with adapted facilities including dining rooms and sitting areas for each unit. At inspection, 32 people were using the service, some of whom had dementia and nursing needs.

Staff lacked adequate support and supervision to work effectively, and care plans did not always explore the best possible ways to meet people's individual needs. Management was inconsistent, with high turnover of both staff and managers that had affected the quality of the service and staff performance. While people were supported with their needs, leadership issues undermined the service's effectiveness.
