Barnfold Cottage Residential Home

Barnfold Cottage is a residential care home providing personal care for up to 14 adults, with 13 residents at the time of inspection. The home has clear policies and procedures in place for infection control, including comprehensive guidance on COVID-19 management and visiting arrangements. Staff follow government guidance on isolation criteria and testing programmes for service users, visitors and staff.

A designated visiting room is available with adequate PPE supplies, and relatives confirm they book appointments in advance, provide negative COVID-19 tests, and use face masks and hand sanitiser during visits. All residents and employees have completed their COVID-19 vaccinations and booster doses, and staff have received specific training in infection control and COVID-19 management.
