This 87-bed care home accommodates 39 residents across four floors, currently using only the ground and first floors due to major fire safety remedial work. The home was under a local authority embargo during inspection, having temporarily halted admissions pending improvements. Leadership has been strengthened with new staff committed to driving change and improving care quality. The home worked collaboratively with local partners to develop and strengthen governance systems, addressing previous concerns that systems and processes were not effective. Significant improvements have been made, though staff are still embedding these changes into daily practice and fire safety work continues on unoccupied areas of the building before additional floors can reopen for residents.
