Lancaster and Morecambe Short Breaks Service

Lancaster and Morecambe Short Breaks Service provides temporary short-term respite care and accommodation for up to six people with learning disabilities and autism. The ground-level accessible accommodation is situated next to a local authority day centre with which staff have established links. During the inspection, six people were staying at the service. The home is designed to promote choice, independence and inclusion, enabling people with learning disabilities and autism to live as ordinary a life as any citizen.
