About Holywell Home

Holywell Home is a residential care home in Lancashire providing personal care for people with learning disabilities. Details of the most recent CQC inspection are set out below.

Holywell Home is a residential care home providing personal care for up to six people with learning disabilities. At the time of inspection, five people were living at the home across three floors, with single bedrooms, communal living areas and shared bathroom facilities. The home had implemented comprehensive policies to manage COVID-19 risks, including support for people with positive diagnoses and measures to maintain contact between residents and relatives.

When in-person visits were not possible, the home facilitated online visiting. Staff supported residents to visit family in the community when safe to do so. Regular COVID-19 testing was provided for residents, staff and visitors, with all visitors required to provide evidence of vaccination and negative lateral flow tests before entry.

The home maintained an ample supply of PPE for staff and visitors.
