Lakeside Nursing & Residential Home

Lakeside nursing and residential home provides personal and nursing care to 41 people aged 65 and over. The home is set in extensive grounds within one adapted building over three floors, with capacity for up to 50 people.

People said they trusted staff to keep them safe, and staff received appropriate safeguarding training. Care plans were detailed and included risk assessments tailored to people's specific needs. Medicines were managed safely, and pressure care was properly managed. Moving and handling equipment was stored safely throughout the building.

Staff provided mixed feedback regarding staffing levels, with some feeling that additional staff were needed.
