Marley Court provides nursing and personal care for up to 49 people living with dementia and physical health conditions. At inspection, 40 people were using the service. The manager has implemented strong safety practices, including secure medicine administration through staff training and clear recordkeeping, alongside multiple process improvements since taking post. A relative praised this approach, saying "It's that sort of forward thinking I'm impressed with." Staff levels were confirmed as sufficient to meet people's needs, with the manager and team working closely to maintain people's independence. Communication was described as excellent by relatives, with one noting "It's like a well-oiled machine here."

The service involves people and relatives in creating individualised care plans addressing nutritional needs and preferences. Staff receive training support to underpin their roles, and people are supported to have maximum choice and control over their lives. A visiting professional observed that staff consistently explain procedures, check understanding and gain consent before proceeding. The manager and team have created an environment of compassion and respect for people's dignity, individuality and independence.
