Beeches Care Home

Beeches Care Home offers residential accommodation with personal and nursing care for up to 40 older people and younger adults, including those living with dementia. The CQC rated the home Good overall, having previously found breaches around safety, staffing, governance and person-centred care. Inspectors found significant improvements, including safer medication management, better staff training, robust recruitment and a more positive culture, and the home is no longer in Special Measures.

However, inspectors were not fully assured staffing levels always met people's needs, and care records were not always consistent. Concerns remained about hydration, privacy, particularly around bathroom doors lacking locks, and limited access to meaningful activities, with feedback from people and relatives mixed on these points.
