The home implemented several infection control measures during the inspection period. Visitor screening included COVID-19 questionnaires, risk assessments, and temperature checks to manage transmission risks. Delivered mail and parcels were quarantined in the entrance for three days before being opened. An air sanitiser was used in communal areas three times weekly to reduce airborne germs, and seating in shared spaces had been reduced to encourage social distancing among residents.
