Grove House Home for Older People provides care for older people and younger adults, including those living with dementia, physical disabilities or learning disabilities and autism. The CQC found the home Requires Improvement overall, with ongoing breaches around safe medicines management and governance, despite improvements requested at the previous assessment not being fully made.

Inspectors found people were treated with kindness, dignity and respect, and staff worked well with other agencies to support good outcomes. However, some people lacked social stimulation and physical activity, and care plans did not always reflect up to date needs, including around end-of-life care. Feedback from people and relatives was largely positive about staff kindness and safety.
