Kiwi House

Kiwi House provides personal and nursing care for up to 78 younger and older people, including those living with dementia, across three separate floors. At the time of inspection, 48 people were resident at the home. Risks are assessed, mitigated and reviewed regularly, and medicines are managed safely. The home maintains enough suitably trained staff to meet residents' needs and promotes people's independence where possible.

Staff support people to have maximum choice and control of their lives in the least restrictive way possible and in their best interests. Management oversight continues to improve, with an established care manager and a new manager registering with CQC. The provider is open and honest about ongoing improvements at the service.
