Kippingtons Nursing Home

This nursing home provides personal and nursing care to up to 55 older people, including those with age-related frailties, physical disabilities, and dementia. At inspection, 44 people were using the service.

Trained nurses administered medicines safely to residents. Staff generally practiced good infection control measures, though inspectors observed one instance where a nurse did not wash their hands between administering medicines to different people. The registered manager addressed this concern immediately during the inspection.

Health risks were mostly assessed and managed safely for residents, including those at risk of choking.
