Kinross Residential Care Home

This care home without nursing provides accommodation and support to up to 29 older people, including those living with dementia. At inspection, 25 people were using the service, accommodated across two floors with communal lounges, a dining room, and specialist bathrooms. All rooms featured en-suite toilets and sinks, available as single or shared occupancy.

People reported feeling safe at the home. Staff had completed safeguarding training and demonstrated understanding of their responsibilities in identifying and reporting abuse or poor practice concerns. Risk assessments were regularly conducted, monitored and reviewed for each person. Staff understood how to manage identified risks while respecting people's rights and freedoms.
