Kingston House

Kingston House provides personal care to eight people with a learning disability and autism in a community-based adapted building spread over three floors with a large garden. Care and treatment are planned to ensure people's safety and welfare, with sufficient staff meeting individual needs. Staff recruitment follows appropriate checking procedures, and medication is dispensed by trained and competent personnel. Systems are in place to minimise infection risk and learn from incidents. People are supported to make choices and have maximum control over their lives, with staff using the least restrictive approaches possible. Families expressed strong satisfaction with the service. One relative stated, "I never have to worry about [person name] being there," while another said, "I am very happy with the service, communication is good and they love being there."
