About Jane House

Jane House is a residential care home in Surrey providing support for autistic people and people with a learning disability. Full details of the CQC's most recent findings are set out below.

Jane House is a specialist service supporting autistic people and people with a learning disability, offering bespoke accommodation within secure grounds. The CQC rated it Requires Improvement, noting a decline since the previous assessment. Inspectors found breaches relating to governance and to dignity and respect, with risks not always properly assessed and management oversight failing to identify problems.

Some staff did not consistently treat people respectfully in their own homes.

Positively, staffing levels were sufficient, care planning reflected people's experiences, and people accessed community facilities and healthcare regularly. Families spoke positively, and people using the service said they liked living there and liked the staff. Deprivation of liberty arrangements were lawfully authorised.
