Ivybank Care Home provides nursing and personal care for up to 38 people, with 34 residents at the time of inspection. The service supports people with a range of needs related to old age and dementia. Staff demonstrated they knew how to keep people safe from harm, with accidents and incidents properly recorded and monitored to identify trends and reduce future occurrences.

People received their medicines as prescribed, and staff followed infection control guidance with access to appropriate personal protective equipment.

Staff were well-supported and possessed the skills and knowledge to meet residents' needs. The home followed the principles of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 in its care provision.
