Austin Rose Care Home provides personal and nursing care to up to 80 people aged 65 and over, with 64 residents at the time of inspection. The home is spread across three floors, each with separate adapted facilities to meet different needs.

There were sufficient staff numbers to meet people's needs, and residents felt safe in the home. Clear care plans and risk assessments were in place for all residents, and the provider had established systems to manage incidents affecting safety. Staff reported feeling supported in their roles.

Residents enjoyed the food provided, and people received appropriate support from external healthcare providers when needed. Assessments of people's needs were completed before they moved into the home.
