About Kensington House

Kensington House is a care home in Worcestershire offering both residential and nursing care to older people. Further details on how the service performs are set out in the CQC findings below.

Kensington House is a residential care home providing personal care to 24 people aged 65 and over, with capacity for up to 30 residents. At the time of inspection, nursing care was not being provided.

People were protected from the risk of abuse, with care staff trained to identify and report concerns appropriately. Staff had identified risks associated with residents' care and support and knew how to provide care safely. Residents received their medicines as needed, managed by care staff, with the provider maintaining controlled registers in line with best practice guidance.

Staffing levels were adequate to meet people's care and support needs.
