Ivy Mead

Ivy Mead provides personal care for up to 20 people of various ages, most with learning disabilities and mental health needs, operating across two separate houses. At the time of inspection, the service was at full capacity with 20 residents.

Staff competently managed medicines as prescribed, though inspectors made recommendations about certain medicines management practices. Risk assessments were regularly reviewed and systems were in place to protect people from abuse, with concerns appropriately raised to relevant authorities. The service maintained sufficient staffing levels and had infection prevention and control measures in place.
