Hunningley Grange Residential Home

Hunningley Grange Residential Home provides personal care to older people, some living with dementia, and at the time of assessment supported 22 people. The home had previously been in special measures following serious breaches around safety, staffing and governance, but inspectors found significant improvements had been made, and it is no longer rated inadequate in any area.

The home is now rated Requires Improvement overall, with Safe and Well-led still needing further work, though Caring, Effective and Responsive were rated Good. Inspectors noted a newly refurbished environment, safer medicines management and more person-centred care records. People and relatives spoke positively about the changes, though some systems still need time to become fully embedded.
