Hunningley Grange Residential Home

Hunningley Grange provides personal care to up to 39 older people, including those living with dementia. At inspection, 23 people were resident at the home. The provider had recently introduced dementia-friendly signage to help people navigate the building, and refurbishment and redecoration were ongoing. Sufficient staff were available to meet people's needs, and they received training and support for their roles.

However, medicines were not always managed safely, with improvements needed to ensure recording processes were robust and effective. Activities available to people were minimal, and staff were recommended to develop more frequent, person-centred and meaningful activity provision. Checks were in place to ensure the environment remained safe for residents.
