Riverside Care Home

Riverside Care Home provides residential care without nursing for up to 50 people, and 45 people were living there at the time of the assessment. The CQC found the service now rated Good overall, having made progress on previous breaches around safeguarding, risk management and governance following an earlier inspection where warning notices were issued.

Inspectors identified new concerns about medicines, which were not always stored, administered or disposed of safely, though the registered manager agreed to act immediately. Staff knew people well, safeguarding systems worked effectively, and people and relatives spoke positively about care, dignity and approachable managers.
