About InFocus Charity

InFocus Charity is a nursing home in Devon, run by the InFocus charity for people with visual impairments and complex needs, many of whom move on from the WESC school and college campus it sits within. Further details from the Care Quality Commission's most recent inspection are set out below.

St David's House provides nursing and personal care for up to 21 people across three lodges on the West of England School and College campus. At inspection, 19 people were living there. The service supports people with visual impairments and complex needs, many of whom have transitioned from WESC's education provision.

Residents continue to access the organisation's specialist services including healthcare and day centre activities, and are supported to develop independence and access community opportunities.

The service operates across a larger physical space than typical domestic properties, which is larger than current best practice guidance for residential care homes.
