Alvina Lodge

Alvina Lodge is a care home without nursing for up to 5 adults with mental health needs. The CQC's latest assessment rated the service good overall, an improvement from the previous requires improvement rating, after the provider addressed earlier concerns about staff support and the environment.

Inspectors found people received safe, personalised care and had good relationships with staff, who were well trained and supported. Some fire safety arrangements had not been fully updated following changes in people's needs, which the registered manager agreed to review. External professionals and people using the service confirmed the quality of care was good.
