Alvina Lodge

Alvina Lodge is a small care home providing personal care for up to five people with mental health needs, currently supporting four residents. One of the owners serves as the registered manager, and the provider also operates one additional care home.

Staff induction processes were not consistently thorough, particularly for those transferring from the provider's other service. Regular staff appraisals were not always conducted, and some staff members reported feeling unsupported and undervalued by management. While staff received online training, they had not been provided with specific training in techniques relevant to supporting people with mental health needs.
