Hope Lodge Care Home

Hope Lodge Care Home is a specialist service supporting autistic people and people with a learning disability, with a small number of residents receiving personal care. The CQC rated the home Good overall, finding it met expectations for safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led care.

Inspectors found staff knew people well and treated them with kindness, dignity and respect, promoting choices and independence. Medicines were managed safely and recruitment and training were appropriate. Previous breaches around safe care and governance had been resolved, though minor gaps in care plan detail and environmental risk assessment remained, with an action plan in place to address these.
