About The Vine House

The Vine House is a residential care home in Luton, providing personal care for people with learning disabilities and autistic individuals. The findings below set out what the CQC observed during its most recent inspection.

The Vine House is a small two-bedded care home providing personal care for people with learning disabilities and autistic individuals. At inspection, two people were living there. Staff demonstrated good infection control practices, with appropriate training in PPE use and adequate supplies available.

The home was clean and well-maintained with no unpleasant odours. Both residents and staff understood the importance of infection prevention and participated in regular COVID-19 testing. Visitors were asked to take lateral flow tests and encouraged to wear masks and sanitise their hands.

The home displayed clear signage and information about COVID-19 safety measures, and staff knew where to access further guidance on best practice for infection prevention and risk management.
