Could the NHS fund Holme Farm Residential Home's fees?
NHS Continuing Healthcare could cover 100% of care costs with no means test.
Holme Farm is a residential care home providing personal and nursing care to up to 30 people aged 65 and over. At inspection, 28 residents were living at the home.
People at the service were happy and well cared for, with staff actively promoting opportunities to develop and maintain friendships and relationships. Activities were particularly strong, with staff working closely with the activities coordinator to identify individual interests and hobbies. This person-centred approach ensured activities promoted wellbeing, prevented social isolation, and kept residents active. Staff were committed to respecting people's end-of-life wishes and ensuring dignified care during this period.
