About Carseld Residential Home

Carseld Residential Home is a residential care home in North Lincolnshire, providing care for older people and younger adults, including those living with dementia. Further details on the service can be found in the CQC findings below.

This residential care home accommodates up to 22 older people and younger adults, including those living with dementia. At inspection, 18 residents were living at the service.

Staff supported residents to have maximum choice and control over their lives in the least restrictive way possible. However, inspectors found that staff knowledge was limited regarding the Mental Capacity Act and its application to care decisions. The provider's quality assurance systems were not always effective in identifying and addressing actions that needed to be taken, and inspectors recommended that the provider continue to strengthen its governance systems to ensure consistent oversight and improvement.
