Hillgrove Residential Home

Hillgrove Residential Home provides accommodation and personal care for up to 23 people. At the time of inspection, 19 people were living at the home.

The home's systems for monitoring quality and safety were not effective. Audits were not in place for all aspects of the service, were not completed regularly, and failed to identify risks that inspectors found during the visit. The home had not established systems to gather regular feedback from staff, residents, or relatives about the service, limiting its ability to make necessary improvements.

Although risk assessments and care plans were in place, risks to residents had not always been fully assessed or managed appropriately.
