HF Trust - Orchard View

Orchard View, run by HF Trust, is a residential care home for people with a learning disability and/or autism who need personal care. Following earlier concerns, the CQC carried out a further assessment focusing on safety, staffing and learning from past issues, and found the service had improved and was now rated Good overall.

Inspectors found staffing levels were consistent, equipment and the environment were well maintained, and staff understood people's individual needs. Relatives reported better communication and more opportunities for activities than previously. Well-led was rated Requires Improvement, though other areas, including safe, effective, caring and responsive, were all rated Good.
