Henning Hall

Henning Hall, in Cheshire East, is a care home providing nursing care for up to 60 people, including some living with dementia. The CQC rated the service good overall. The assessment followed a notification about an incident involving a person's death, which is subject to separate investigation, but this visit focused on how deteriorating health and learning from incidents were managed.

Inspectors found a proactive safety culture, with staff raising concerns and managers acting on lessons learnt, though record-keeping around risk management needed to be more robust. Care plans were detailed and person-centred, and people and relatives spoke warmly of staff, describing them as caring and helpful.
