Park Mount is a purpose-built care home in Macclesfield accommodating 40 older people in single en-suite rooms across two floors, plus one double room. The home features two lounges, two dining rooms, an accessible garden, and a chapel offering regular services to all denominations. Residents reported feeling safe, and inspectors confirmed adequate staffing levels to maintain safety.

Medication management was secure with systems to analyse incidents and accidents, and the environment met safety standards.

Staff demonstrated the skills and knowledge to support people effectively, with inspectors observing kind and caring interactions throughout the home. Residents were offered choice and control in their daily lives with proper consent procedures in place. The home provided support for nutrition and hydration needs.

Inspectors discussed opportunities to further improve the home's décor to better support people living with dementia.
