Hen Cloud House

Hen Cloud House provides personal care for up to 66 older people, some with dementia, physical disabilities, or sensory impairments. At inspection, 43 people were using the service.

Inspectors found that people's risks were not always managed safely, and medicine management required improvement. When incidents occurred, lessons were not consistently learned from them. Staff reported insufficient staffing levels to meet people's needs effectively. There was no registered manager in post, and governance systems were not effective in monitoring quality and safety. Some records needed reviewing and updating.
